Sharks and Minnows

Sharks and Minnows explores the exciting, daunting, and transitional nature of adolescence. When Maddie gets her first ever period at sleepaway camp, she relies on her counselors and fellow Girls Scouts to prepare her for this new chapter of her life. The spontaneously created and completely illegitimate Girl Scout ‘period badge’ teaches Maddie about what it means to shed her girlhood and become a woman.
